ANDERSON, Ind. – Winchester scored 11 runs in the seventh inning to pull away for a 17-5 victory over Liberty Christian Thursday.

Michael Georgi had four hits, a double and three RBIs for the Falcons (2-11), while Dakota Holiday had three hits and three RBIs and Austin Myers also doubled.

“Tight ball game going into the seventh inning, both teams had played some pretty tight defense up the middle,” Winchester coach Jeff Clark said. “We broke it open in the seventh inning.”

The Falcons host Cowan on Tuesday.
