Tri-Eastern ConferenceCenterville won its season opener 25-19, 25-17, 25-17 over Knightstown on Wednesday.
Brittany Jones had 12 assists, two aced and eight digs while Jordan Vanwinkle and Sarah Stelle added six kills apiece. Mo Wert led the defense with 15 digs, while Cristen Hale had nine digs to go with three aces.
The Bulldogs (1-0) play at the Southport Invitational on Saturday.
