Just before the start of this season, the Knights found out they would return to Richmond. On Wednesday, the teams got an early chance to gauge what they can expect once the postseason tournament rolls around in the season-opener for both teams. This time, the Knights blanked the Red Devils 5-0. “It’s such an early match for Richmond, I don’t know much about how their kids prepared in the summer, so for us, it was just about continuing on the good play from the summer that the kids have played, but it at least gives us a look at what we’re looking at,” Northeastern coach Mike Esposito said. “We’re going to have to put this out of our minds once sectional time rolls around — I don’t bank on it being this easy come sectional time.” But the Knights made it look easy on Wednesday. http://www.pal-item.com/article/20120815/HSSPORTS/308150022/Knights-start-season-off-statement
