Patriots snare 1st regional crown

Tri-Eastern ConferenceLIBERTY, Ind. — The seventh inning on Tuesday was like one Maggie Tidrow hadn’t experienced in a while.
After pitching three 1-0 victories to win the Class 2A sectional, the left-handed Patriot ace was in the circle pitching with a seven-run cushion.
By the end of the night, Union County was experiencing something it had never experienced before — the celebration of a softball regional championship.
