The Bulldogs lost to host Blackford 12-2 in five innings in the first game. Purcell had three doubles against Wapahani, while Chad Phenis hit a two-run home run. Dallas Stiller pitched a complete game to earn the win.
WINCHESTER, Ind. — Randolph Southern and Winchester split a doubleheader on Saturday, with the Rebels winning the first game 7-4 and the Falcons taking a 14-13 slugfest in Game 2. Austin Pearson doubled and homered for Randolph Southern in Game 1, with Preston Parker adding two doubles. Bradley Clark and Elijah Jones each had two hits for Winchester. Cainan Wynn and Austin Myers each had two hits for the Falcons in Game 2.
