NO CHANGES IN INDIANA FOOTBALL

The Indiana Football Coaches Association proposal to overhaul the high school football playoff system has been tabled.

Indiana High School Athletic Association Commissioner Bobby Cox said the IHSAA executive committee has asked him to resurvey principals, athletic directors and coaches at all member schools on the three-pronged proposal, which would:

Move teams up a class based on playoff success.

Seed teams in the tournament.

Add a sixth class.
