Tigers Run at Heritage days Invitational

The boys cross country team competed at Hope, Indiana Saturday morning. looking to gain varsity experience, the junior varsity runners ran varsity in this meet - the team is in a midst of three meets in six days, and the regular varsity are focused on next Tuesdays Conference meet at Lapel. Having only four runners available for the meet the young Tigers performed well - with almost everyone running season best times.

The Tigers were led by Kyle Tilley who finished 24th over-all in a time of 20:57. He was folloed by Stephen Northam in 26th place in a time of 21:20. Next in for the Tigers was James Russell who completed the course in 23:55, he was followed closely by Luke Williams, finishing in a time of 24:07. Good job gentlemen.

With Kathryn Peterson out sick and Madison Mohr skipping this meet to prepare for conference on Tuesday - the girls team didn't have anyone running Saturday.

Next up for the Tigers is their first taste of the Indiana Crossroads Conference Championships, as mentioned, to be held Tuesday at lapel at 5:00 pm.
