Harriers Compete at Martinsville Invitational

In the Class A division at Martinsville, Triton Central finished 12th in the boys' division.

Cory Miller led the Tigers with a 20th-place finish in 18:09. Also running were Johnny Hollingsworth (36th, 19:04), Jarrett Leland (58th, 19:12), Eric Colter (81st, 21:11), Adam Trout (96th, 22:43) and James Russell (107th, 24:51).

Triton Central competed without three varsity runners not available due to injury or personal reasons.

In the girls' race, Triton Central junior Kathryn Peterson finished 17th in a season best time of 22:09. Madison Mohr took 36th in 24:30. Makaela Hill did not finish the race after suffering an ankle injury during the first mile.
