Rushville Invitational - Sat. 8/25/12 Results

The boys and girls cross country teams traveled to Rushville this past Saturday to participate in the Rushville Invitational - a meet that hoste nearly 60 teams in three divisions.  The boys running four freshmen on the varsity placed 12th overall in the Division 2 race - as one of the smaller schools in that division.  Despite temperatures already in the mid-eighties by race time the young men performed well with everyone improving their season best times.  The boys were led by Cory Miller who placed 23rd overall in a time of 18:35.

The ladies ran before the boys but do not have enough girls to record a team score - they too ran very well with all the girls battling through early season challenges. Kathryn Peterson led the girls finishing 29th overall in a respectable 23:34.  Final results for all the runners are below:
