On Tuesday, September 7, Genoa visited for the Eagles home opener. The team had a slow start and gave up 4 goals early. After settling down, the girls had some terrific opportunities but finished with one goal by Katie Roose on an assist from Lydia Yeager. The final score was 7-1.

On Saturday, September, 11, the girls travelled to Archbold to play a talented Blue Streaks team. Playing without goalkeeper Hannah Whipple and in tough rain conditions, the Eagles played a solid first half. However, Archbold took complete control during the 2nd half and won 9-0. Although Archbold has yet to be scored upon all season, the Eagles had two close calls on corner kicks that were deflected at the last second.
