Tri-County fell 11-5 to Frontier on Saturday, in the second game of a doubleheader.

Michael Hirt recorded the win for Frontier. He allowed two runs over two-thirds of an inning. Michael struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Frontier was sparked by Jarrett Burroughs and Tyler Prior, who teamed up for three hits and two RBIs.

Paul Budde was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 11 runs in 5 2/3 innings, walking eight and striking out eight.

The Cavaliers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first.

It didn't take long for Frontier to respond as it scored two runs of its own in the first.

Frontier never surrendered the lead after the third inning, scoring four runs on an error and a sacrifice fly by Michael.

Two runs in the top of the fourth helped Tri-County close its deficit to 5-4. A walk by Mason Berenda and a fielder's choice set off the Cavaliers rally. Aj Hall ended the inning by getting Kyle Miller .

Frontier tacked on another three runs in the fifth. A error scored Blake Hylton to start the scoring in the inning.

A one-run sixth inning helped bring Tri-County within three. An error gave the Cavaliers life but, Kyle grounded out to end the inning.
