Cavalier Boys Overcome Travel and Caston On Their Home Floor 53-42

March 10, 2014
Tri-County Jr.-Sr. High School

The Dynamic Duo of Zack Patton and Kyle Miller were too much for the Comets as the Cavaliers took contral of the game for good late in the fourth quarter to secure a 53-42 victory over the Comets and advance themselves into the championship game to meet the North White Vikings.

Tri-County struggled in the 2nd and 3rd quarters offensively.  They trailed the Comets 22-20 at half-time.  The 3rd quarter was a struggle for both teams with the Comets winning the quarter 7-5 and holding a 29-25 lead going into the final quarter.  The Cavs behind the timely 3 pt shooting of Miller and Elijah Legler exploded for 28 pts in the final frame to win going away 53-42.

The Cavaliers will meet the North White Vikings in the Championship game Saturday night at 7:30 pm ESt at Caston H.S.
