Pep in your Step

Tates Creek had its Homecoming Pep Rally last week, and it was one to remember. All of the fall sports were introduced, including the step team, dance team, as well as cheerleading squad. There was a lot of excitement in this pep rally because, Senior Dorian Hairston was creating a “Lip Dup” for our school, to the song Yeah 3x by Chris Brown.

            The Lip Dup went all though the school, showing off the clubs and sports as well, ending in the gym where all the rest of the students were waiting the yell, “We are TC.” Which is also the theme of this year’s Yearbook spread. The Crowd was super hype with everyone jumping around, and the Tates Creek High School band playing the school song. The dance team and cheerleadering squad were also doing they dance to the school song.

            All of the fall sports introduced their senior players and talked about how the season was going. There Student Council also had games planned for the teachers and students to play. There was also a dance off at the end, to get into the spirit for the homecoming dance that Saturday night.
