Fennville high school Wes Leonard collapsed

After Wes Leonard hit the game winning shot to capture a perfect season he collapsed on the court and one of the most tragic things in high school sports occurred. Wes was the starting quarterback for the football and the star of the basketball at many positions, the school loved him his family loved him so everybody asked why take him? And what was wrong with him? He had an enlarged heart so the excitement made his blood pressure rise rapidly making him go into cardiac arrest. The bad thing about this is that it all could have been prevented and no everybody’s wondering if they’re not paying enough attrition to the health of these players and I’m a high school athlete so that makes me think and wonder that do they really care about us? I think if more screenings this could have been prevented and should be took into place as soon as possible to prevent this in the future. The team plays their first game this Monday and its gonna be a very emotional game.
