Tates Creek Womens Soccer Wins big in Monday Nights Regional Playoff Game against Scott County

Tates Creek Womens Soccer lost last week to Lexington Catholic 1-0. However if there was time to lose a game and get motivated it would be that game! Abby Vanbussum and Katie Workman (Center Backs for Tates Creek) say it would be like comparing the UK and Vandy Loss where UK continued  through the tourney and  came back and won it all!

The Road to a State Championship is never easy but Tates Creek Lady Commodores are working hard to make that happen. Monday night they won their first Regional Playoff Game against #3 in the state Scott County, leaving no doubt they were the best team on the field that night by winning 4-1. Destinie Graves scored 2 goals while Aaron Lankster and Shelby Williams sealed the deal with #3 and #4..... Mallory Eubanks was an integral part of three of the four goals with her assists and corner kicks. Overall an amazing team effort. Katie, Abby and Ashley Whaley along with Abriana McKinney anchored a strong defense to stop Scott Counties Cline and Boreman from their typical scoring success. The defense for TC is rock solid. 

From top to bottom Tates Creek Lady Commodores have a strong group of players. In Monday Nights game, the midfield,Offense and Defense all put on an amazing effort and worked well together. It was Beautiful soccer! 

The Seniors for Tates Creek this year and the whole team are committed to "keeping the jerseys"...they are taking this one day at a time, one game at a time, their philosophy has truly become...."GO HARD, OR GO HOME!"
