Destinie Graves scored in the early-going to put Tates Creek up 1-0. Shelby Williams made it 2-0 at the 9:53 mark, heading in a Mallory Eubanks corner kick. Nine minutes later, the Commodores got goal No. 3 when Eubanks drove one in off a pass from Graves.
Dunbar (11-7-0) scored its lone goal on a penalty kick by McKenzie Nichols late in the first half.
The Creek defense led by the tandem of Van Bussum and Katie Workman limited Dunbar to just six shots, with only three on goal. Keeper Arly Lankster earned the win with a pair of saves.
The potent Commodore offense peppered Dunbar goalkeeper Kristen Cruse with 12 shots on goal. Tates Creek finished the night with 27 total shots and five corner kicks.
The Commodores will finish out the regular season with games against a pair of ranked opponents - No. 5 St. Henry and No. 14 West Jessamine.
Dunbar will wrap up at home against South Oldham.
