Randaberg Norway SX Track Rendering

Pulled this one off Facebook over the weekend…the rendering of the Randaberg, Norway World Cup track.  The race, happening April 13 and 14, was moved indoors, to hedge against the chance of sketchy weather (can’t afford a rain out, afterall, with only a handful of events on the Olympic-year calendar).

As SX tracks go, Randaberg is a shorty, at 1049 feet.  On this build, Tom Ritz and EliteTrax are rolling out something we’ve never seen on an SX track–brick-paved turns.  It’s popular in on the club track of Europe, we realize, but it’ll be interesting to see how it lays down in a temp environment, and at SX speeds.  The cool factor is full-on for that one–at least for us spectators.
