Band & Choir Concert and Art Show @ SWMS

The SWMS band and choir performed their winter concert this past Tuesday, December 4th in the South Warren auditorium.  The seventh grade band performed three songs including "Feliz Navidad".  The eighth grade band followed by performing three pieces including a song titled, "Hanukkah  Dance".  The choir performed five pieces for the audience which included "Christmastime Is Here", "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and "Sleigh Ride".  Mr. Porter and Mr. Calvert would like to thank the students for their hard work and all those who attended for supporting the arts at South Warren!

South Warren Middle School art students displayed many different types of art during the joint SWMS band, choir and art Christmas show on Dec. 4th. On display were many examples of the types of artwork SWMS art students have been producing through out the semester including typographic portraits, Cubism portraits, Tiffany lampshades and various ceramic pieces. South Warren Middle School can be proud of the strong arts programs provided for all our students. Special Thanks to Mr. Paul Johnson for his outstanding work with the Art students at South Warren Middle School.
