South Warren wasted no time giving Russ Kerr all the runs he would need to quickly put the visiting Patriots of Allen County away in Game 1 of a 9-1 victory. Kerr would give up 0 hits in the shortened 3 inning game. Kerr added 8 strikeouts and only 1 walk in the victory. The Spartans scored 3 runs in the first inning en route to the victory. South Warren only picked up 2 hits in the game but took advantage of 11 walks from the Allen County pitching, that led to a 9-1 lead after 2 innings.

South Warren picked up the sweep in the second game with a 5-0 win behind the dominating pitching performance from Michael Hicks. Hicks struck out 11 batters in only 4 innings of work and gave up no walks. Ryder Litten came in the last inning to pick up the save and preserve the shutout for the Spartans.
Dylan Taylor and Max Benningfield each scored in the first inning to give the Spartans a 2-0 lead. Taylor and Griffin Heltsley picked up singles in the 2nd inning that helped South Warren increase the lead to 4-0.
The win moved the Spartans to 8-2 on the season.
