Football - East vs South 10/10

The #3 ranked Sullivan South Rebels came to East Friday night and left no doubt in anyone's mind that they were a good football team as they left with a 56-14 win over the Patriots.
East managed to keep it close in the first quarter scoring on a 40 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Tyler Gaby to receiver Chase Depew that made the score 7-6 in favor of the Rebels. South never looked back as they went on to score 49 unanswered points. The Patriots scored with time winding down and converted the two point conversion to end with the final.
East travels to Erwin next week to take on the Blue Devils in another Mountain Lakes conference matchup and returns home on Thursday, October 23 to face the Johnson County Longhorns on what will be Senior night for the fall sports teams. |
