The Patriots got back into the win column Friday night with a convincing 40-12 win over the homestanding Unaka Rangers in a non-conference game. Caleb Looney led the rushing attack with 82 yards and a touchdown while QB Tyler Gaby passed for 95 yards in the leading the offense to their highest point production of the season. Corbett Bawgus led the Patriot defense with 6 tackles and a sack while the Rangers could only manage 53 yards rushing for the game. With the win, East is now 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the Mountain Lakes Conference with a big conference matchup next Friday night at Elizabethton. |
