Golf - Big 6 Match @ Warrior's Path GC

The annual Big 6 Match was held at Warrior's Path GC today. The Big 6 is made up of the six schools located in or around Bristol. From Tennessee: Sullivan East, Sullivan Central, and Tennessee High, and from Virginia: Abingdon, John Battle, and Virginia High. Central made the best of playing on its home course by posting a team score of 310, edging out Abingdon by eight strokes. The Falcons finished second with a score of 318. Tennessee High was third (321), followed by Virginia High (327), Sullivan East (333), and John Battle (376). Robert Stallard of Abingdon earned medalist honors of the day with a round of one over par score of 73.

David Tedder led the Patriots with a round of 76, tied with two others, for second place honors for the day. East's Jason Nave turned in his best performance of the year with a round of 83. Complete team and individual results are below.
