Volleyball - East vs. South 8/28

The Lady Patriots traveled to Kingsport last night to take on country rival South in another Big 9 Conference match up. The Lady Rebels played strong and stopped any chance of an East win with a 3 game shut out, 25-13, 25-16, and 25-13. While the scores might not indicate a close match, the Lady Patriots were fighting tooth and nail early in each. Scoring runs of 9-1 in the first game, 8-0 in the second game, and 10-0 in the third were the downfall of the Lady Patriots for this match. Katie Fowler had 24 assists and Kelsey Trivett six kills to lead East, who falls to 1-2 in both the conference and overall. They travel to King College in Bristol to play in the Border Bash tournament over the weekend. Good Luck Lady Patriots!! |
