What You Need To Know:
The Eagles enter the final game of the regular season with an 8-0 record and are coming off clinching the FRC Championship outright for the first time since 1999. A win on Friday night would give Sullivan its first undefeated regular season in school history. The Eagles are currently atop the District standings and are looking to maintain that spot with a win on Friday to ensure home field advantage throughout the district playoffs which will begin on Thursday, October 25th.
Friday night will also mark the first time that Fox Sports Midwest has been on campus for a Sullivan football game. Be sure to welcome our friends from Fox Sports Midwest. This is the perfect opportunity to show others why Sullivan has one of the best high school football atmospheres in the area. Come Early, Be Loud, Wear Black!
Friday night is a “Black Out” game. All fans are encouraged to wear black to work/school on Friday and to the game on Friday night to show your support.
Friday night is also “Senior Night” for all of our seniors in fall sports. Beginning at 6:15 p.m. in the stadium, senior athletes and parents will be recognized for their contributions in representing Sullivan High School both on and off the field. Senior parents must meet at the track at 6:00 p.m.
The front parking lot will open at 3:15 p.m. for all Sullivan Eagle Tailgaters. A large section of the parking lot nicknamed “Eagle Alley” will be blocked off for all Sullivan fans to tailgate prior to the game. Many local businesses will have food and free giveaways this Friday. Get to the tailgate early to reserve your spot and to have a chance to receive many of the free items being handed out on Friday night. The largest crowd of the season is expected. Please be sure to arrive early to enjoy all of the activities and to support the local businesses.
In order to ensure a quicker entrance into the game, an additional entrance has been added for the remainder of the football season. You may now enter the new gate nearest the baseball field or the gate booth in front of the stadium nearest the concession stand.
SHS is expecting larger than normal crowds for the remainder of the football season. In order to provide a better viewing experience for fans SHS has added roughly 1,000 additional seats for the remainder of the season. Additional seating has been added behind both endzones on the field. The Sullivan student section is now located directly behind the endzone closest to the baseball field. The band will also be located in this section. The visitor’s student section will be located directly behind the endzone nearest the scoreboard.
Friday Night’s game will have several promotions taking place from local businesses.
Free “Black Out” T-Shirts – 1500 free “Black Out” t-shirts will be given out prior to the game for all fans courtesy of Mercy. The t-shirts will be given out beginning at 5:30 pm by the Sullivan Cheer & Dance teams in the tailgate area in front of school.
Free Sullivan Eagle Coolie Cups- 200 free “Black Out” coolie cups will be given out prior to the game courtesy of Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital. The coolie cups will be given out beginning at 5:30 p.m. by the Sullivan Cheer & Dance teams in the tailgate area in front of school.
Free “Black Out” Draw String Backpacks – The Bank of Sullivan will be handing out free draw string back packs at their tent in the tailgate area in front of school prior to the game. Make your way to the Bank of Sullivan tent prior to the game to get your draw string backpack while supplies last.
Free Fireworks Following the Game – To cap off one of the greatest football regular seasons in school history there will be a fireworks show following the game. The fireworks show has been made possible through the generous support of the Sullivan High School Activities Department, Sullivan Sports Booster Club, Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital, Cochran Engineering, Cavern City Auto Sales, Valvoline Express Care in Sullivan, and Galactic Fireworks.

Fox Sports Midwest: For the first time in program history all Sullivan Eagle football fans can watch the Sullivan vs. Borgia game live at http://www.foxsportsmidwest.com/pages/prepzone . Live coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. The game will be available for playback at anytime on the same web page.
KTUI/Fidelity 6 – The Sullivan vs. Borgia game will be carried live on 102.1 KTUI-FM. Fidelity’s TV coverage will also carry the game live on Channel 95. The game can also be seen on-demand through an archived version on FidelityLocal6.com and can be accessed free of charge by Fidelity Internet customers.
KLPW- The Sullivan vs. Borgia game will be carried live on KLPW 1220 AM.
