Elise Polio Up For Player of the Week

MOBILE, Alabama — Coastal Alabama volleyball Player of the Week will be chosen by fan voting so vote your choice known by selecting from the list below.

Voting will end at midnight on Thursday with the winner revealed on Friday.

Natalie GeorgeUMS-Wright: Recorded 49 kills and 12 aces in eight matches last week. The junior also excelled on defense with 66 digs in 90 attempts and completed 97 passes in 116 attempts.

Danielle MeltonBaker: The senior captain led the Hornets with 45 kills, 38 digs, 11 blocks and three aces in six matches. Melton provided 10 kills in both wins over Cottage Hill and Huntsville.

Elise PolioSt. Luke’s: the junior setter and outside hitter provided 55 assists and 15 kills in six matches last week. Polio’s best match came against Oak Mountain with 15 assists and six kills.

Bri RiderSpanish Fort: The junior setter ran the offense with 92 assists (5.8 per set), adding 26 digs, seven aces (93 percent serving) and five kills as the Toros were 5-2 last week.

Katherine StillMcGill-Toolen: Contributed 46 kills, 51 digs (2.18 passing average) and 12 aces in six matches. The senior outside hitter to the quarterfinals of the Juanita Boddie Tournament with a 4-1 record.
