Choose the Coastal Alabama Player of the Week for the Aug. 21-23 games

MOBILE, Alabama -- There wasn't a full slate of regular-season games in Coastal Alabama last week, but there certainly were some quality performances.

Here are some of the top efforts by Coastal Alabama players this past weekend.

Vote on your choice for the Player of the Week on the Gulf Coast.

The poll will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and the results will be announced on AL.com on Thursday.

Here are your choices:

Juwan JudgeBaldwin County: The junior quarterback ran for two touchdowns and threw for another to help the Tigers end a 10-game losing streak and give Nathan McDaniel a win in his head coaching debut.

Jamel GraceFlomaton: The junior ran 22 times for 194 yards and five touchdowns as the Hurricanes spoiled Chickasaw’s first varsity game with a 57-28 win.

Luke PhillipsSt. Luke’s: The senior quarterback ran for 97 yards and two touchdowns and also threw a pair of TD passes as the Wildcats beat McIntosh 35-6.

Rodney EnglishLeFlore: The Davidson transfer ran for two touchdowns and threw for another as the Rattlers rallied from a 21-6 halftime deficit to beat Jeff Davis 26-21.

Tristan NolanFoley: The senior caught a pair of touchdown passes as Foley pulled away to beat Gulf Shores 34-6 on Thursday night.

Tyler JohnstonSpanish Fort: The junior QB threw for 353 yards and five touchdowns and ran for 101 yards and another touchdown as the Toros routedStanhope Elmore 42-14 on Saturday night.

Kristian CottonSpanish Fort: The senior receiver caught seven passes for 199 yards and four touchdowns in the Toros’ victory. His longest TD reception was from 90 yards away.

Lamical PerineTheodore: The junior running back carried the ball 14 times for 149 yards and four touchdowns in the Bobcats’ season-opening win at Citronelle.
