Boys Golf Takes Second In Close Season Opener

Boys Golf: St. Luke's Daniel McCormick, Bayside Academy victors

St. Luke's Daniel McCormick took medalist honors with a one-under par 35 for nine holes while Bayside Academy won team honors at Heron Lakes Country Club.

Bayside's 151 in the four-team event was followed by St. Luke's 152, Mobile Christian's 196 and Cottage Hill's 226.

Bayside's Trey Smith and John Solberg tied for second with rounds of 36. They were followed by St. Luke's Wesley Hunter (37), Cottage Hill's Connor Sells (38) and Bayside's Bryce Rouse (38), St. Luke's Payton Massey (40), Spencer Arnold (40) and Drew Mathers (40), Bayside's Jacob Dyas (41) and Mobile Christian's Von Bryan (41).
