Girls Sweep Weekend's Games

#1 Ranked Lady Wildcats swept a pair of games this weekend versus Alma Bryant and Mobile Christian to end the regular season with only 1 loss on the year heading into this week's Area Playoffs:

Girls Basketball: St. Luke's 57, Alma Bryant 29

Top-ranked Class 1A St. Luke's broke open a close game with a 35-12 second half. Visiting St. Luke's (23-1) led 22-17 at halftime. The Wildcats' Jewel Hill had a game-high 24 points. Teammate Brooke Pate scored 13 points. Kaleigh Collins and Courtlynne Parnell each had points for Alma Bryant.

Jewel Hill led the way with 20 points and five assists as Class 1A No. 1 St. Luke's (24-1) beat visiting Mobile Christian.

Brooke Pate added eight points for St. Luke's.

Maddison Harry led Mobile Christian with seven points
