MOBILE, Alabama -- George Payne gained 224 yards and three touchdowns on just six carries and also returned an interception 60 yards for a score to lead St. Luke's to the win in the first playoff game ever for the Wildcats.

Payne had scoring runs of 90, 64 and 50 yards to help the Wildcats continue a streak of eight straight wins after starting the season 1-2.

Payne had two scores in the first quarter, then following Pleasant Home's only score of the game, Justin Ware returned the kickoff 70 yards to put the Wildcats up 21-6 at the half.

The Wildcats got one score from Payne in the third quarter, and he returned his interception for a TD midway through the fourth. Aaron Bryant caught a 43-yard pass from Drew Favors to punctuate the victory.
