The tables were turned in quarters 2 & 3 as Rogers displayed why they are ranked #5 in the state, as they scored 42 unanswered points using a balance offensive attack.
The Saints stormed back in quarter 4 as they scored 20 unanswered points of their own, one on a Gust 8 yard run and 2td receptions by Blake Moreno (one being a 81 yard catch and rumble from Gust).
Offensive leaders were
Max Gust - rushing 17-115-2TD's & passing 1-1-81-1TD.
Blake Moreno - receiving - 2-91-2TD's
Dylan Schroeder - receiving 5-70-0
Hunter Trautman 11-17-149-1TD
The football staff and team would like to thank the great Youth Night crowd. Those in the stands at halftime were entertained by brief games by our youth teams. After watching these boys play on the big field we realize that the cup board is not empty as many SF superstars of the future displayed their talents.
Lastly, a special thanks to all the students sitting in the student section wearing PINK in support of Randy Shaver Tackle Cancer night. This again shows what great students St.Francis has.
On Friday, Sept 20 the Saints (1-2) travel to rival Cambridge (3-0) for a game 4 clash. Hope to see you all there to cheer on our young men.
