Varsity Improves to 6-0 to Start the Season

St. Charles - (5-0) - 48

Holt - (1-3) - 34

The Pirates maintained a balanced scoring attack to defeat the Wentzville Holt Indians on Tuesday night.  Olivia Hollander, Ellen Weaver, & Lauren Willis each had 9 pts in the win.  Hollander led the way with 8 rebounds with Willis contributing 7 with 4 steals.  The Pirates came out with a strong first 3 quarters to win the basketball game.  Sophomore Karly Leach and Junior Kara Benden came off the bench to have a huge impact on the game.  Great win ladies!


St. Charles - (6-0) - 46

Pattonville - (2-3) - 31

In the battle of the Pirates, SCHS came out on top in convincing fashion.  Freshman Gabby Walker led the way with 18 pts and Senior Olivia Hollander scoring 10 pts and 3 blocks.  Walker had 11 rebounds with 4 steals and 3 assists to lead the team.  Katie Bradley had a huge game for the Pirates with 6 pts, 3 assists, and 7 rebounds.  Lauren Willis contributed 5 pts and was big on the defensive boards with 6.  

Next up is the Pirates first home game of the year with a 5:00 pm starting time on Friday for the JV and 6:30 starting time for the Varsity.  They will take on the Fort Zuwalt North Panthers so please come out and let's get the gym rockin'!!!!
