Fort Zumwalt East - 24

The Pirates (16-7) came out strong from the beginning and played incredible defense in the GAC North match up.  The defense didn't allow a FZE (2-21) player to have more than 4 pts. Junior Olivia Hollander led the way for the Pirates with 18 pts and 8 rebounds. Junior Lauren Willis had her best game of the year with a rare double-double in pts (10) and steals (10).  Senior Erika Teson contributed 9 pts and 4 steals. Sophomore Ellen Weaver led the team in assists with 6.

The Pirates have already locked up a share of the conference title for the second consecutive year.  The Pirates will travel to Washington tomorrow night for a 7:30 tipoff. This Friday night will be senior night for the winter sports and it will be a sad moment as we say goodbye to our 5 seniors.  Tipoff on Friday is at 6:30 with the senior recognition following the varsity girls game.

Please come out and support the team and the seniors!!!
