Home » Boys' Basketball NewsJoslin Named Most Improved PlayerApril 11, 2013 By Rick Foster of St Charles Boys BasketballThe boys basketball program held their annual awards banquet on Tuesday night and had a large turnout. The Pirates varsity & junior varsity teams both won their conference championship this year. Championship shirts were passed out to both teams. Tonys on Main provided the main course to our meal. Please support Tonys on Main. Thanks goes to Coach Panhorst for helping with the meal. Luke Joslin was named the Most Improved Player for the 2012-2013 varisty boys basketball season. Korey Teson was awarded the Pirate Award and the players voted Casey Teson as Most Valuable Player. Several other awards were presented to the players including Corey Whiteside, who was presented with a ball inclosed in glass for breaking the school record in 3 point shots made. Corey is #1 in school history for making 159 three point shots over his four year career. Its was a great night for all levels and want to thank all for their effort. A special thanks goes out to Mrs Wiggs for taking pictures for end of the season video. Also to Mrs. Teson for presenting our Seniors with their Senior gifts.
