Home » Basketball NewsAthletic Trainer's Dish of the Week: Smoothie SunriseFebruary 6, 2012 By Emily Grozdanic of St Charles Boys BasketballSmoothie Sunrise INGREDIENTS: 16 clementines 1 cup fresh pineapple, cubed 2 bananas, sliced 2 cups of skim milk (or yogurt) Ice cubes 5 fresh strawberries (optional) DIRECTIONS: Peel and segment 16 clementines. Combine fresh clementines, pineapples, bananas, milk (or yogurt) and ice cubes in a blender and blend until smooth. If you're adding the flaxseed or protein powder, combine those as well before blending. Serve with fresh strawberry as garnish. NUTRITIONAL VALUES: Servings: 4 (8 fl.oz per serving) Calories: 256 Fat: 0.7g Carbohydrates: 60g Protein: 9g Fiber: 6g
