Lady Squires Second In Four Way

The Manchester girls golf team placed 2nd in a four way match with Rochester, Southwood and North Miami at Etna Acres on Monday evening.  Rochester won the team event with a 180, followed by Manchester with a 199, Southwood 201 and North Miami 279.  Medalist on the evening was Lauren Daugherty of Rochester shooting a 39 on an evening that included a 30 minute storm delay.  Manchester was lead by Jasmine Whitaker’s steady 45, followed closely by Lindsey Budnik, who started slowly, but finished with three pars to shoot 46.  Junior Nina Smith, who continues to improve, shot her lowest score of the year, a 52, while Claire Barnett shot 56, Celina Carter shot 69, also her lowest score of the year. Erin Working rounded out Manchester’s score with a 75.
