NEW SMYRNA BEACH -- Wide receiver Michael Colubiale is "the best-kept secret in Volusia County," according to his offensive coordinator, Joe Giddens. If the Spruce Creek rising senior plays in the fall like he did in the spring game and at the Battle by the Beach on Friday, he won't be a secret to big-time programs any more. "The trouble with a lot of the Division I schools is they just pigeonhole kids," Creek head coach Bob Goebel said. "It's all about height, weight and 40 time. He goes up and gets the football and probably has one of the better pair of hands in Central Florida. "I have no idea what kind of school's going to come after him, but they're missing the boat if they don't because he's a player." At 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, Colubiale is a big target at wide receiver. He has a build more like a tight end, and he runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. complete story here - News-Journalonline.com article
