Home » Soccer NewsViolent play mars soccer gameOctober 17, 2012 By Solomon Alexander of SportsmanshipA recent soccer match between Woods Cross (Utah) High and Salt Lake City (Utah) East High turned ugly when East senior Petiiola Manu drove her knee into the face of Woods Cross' Mackenzie Clark. The incident took place well after the play was over. This type of behavior has no place in soccer or any sport. Clark could have been seriously injured. There is a line between playing hard and playing dirty. Manu clearly crossed it. Please make sure your kids don't. Until next time... Be a Good Sport! -Sol
