The Jr. High Ladycat basketball teams have had a very productive start to their season. The Ladycats have competed in a scrimmage against Huffman Middle School and exhibited great fundamental skills. The Ladycats have also competed in 2 pre-season co-op games against Cleveland and Tarkington. The Ladycats competed in their first district game this past Thursday at home against Shepherd Jr. High. All teams came out with a win and the results for the games are below. The Ladycat coaches are extremely proud of the hard work that the girls are putting forth in practice and at games. We look forward to a great season and to see how the girls grow throughout the season. Results from Shepherd games:
The 7B LadyCats had an exciting game that went into overtime and ended up pulling out a win with a score of 6-4. The girls hustled and never gave up.
The 7A team played a great game with great effort and great hustle. The girls did a great job on offense outscoring their opponent as well as playing great defense.
