Nixon signs with Southwestern

     Splendora Wildcat Senior Ty Nixon has signed to play Baseball for the Southwestern University Pirates next fall!

     Southwestern University is a NCAA Division III school located in Georgetown, Texas, which is about 30 minutes from Austin.  Established in 1840, Southwestern is a Liberal Arts College and is the oldest University in Texas. The Pirates compete in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

     Former noteable Southwestern University students include comedian Bill Engvall, current House of Representative Pete Sessions and current Major League Baseball Pitcher, Mike Timlin.
