Splendora High SchoolFriday night the Splendora boy's soccer team defeated Jasper at Wildcat stadium. The defense cotributed well in both ends of the field. Jose Moreno opened with a header in the second half. Moments later Abraham Lopez scores from free-kick position. Goal keeper Ricky Estrada made important stoppages throughout the 80 minutes of play. Julio Hernandez and Luis Avalos controlled the midfield in key moments. Fullbacks Cristian Acosta and Tate Funkhouser supported the team at an intense level. Now the team await their next opponent.
