Splendora Girls Soccer Kicks Off Season in Manvel

The Splendora Girls Soccer team will begin the 2012-13 campaign by participating in the Manvel Round Robin. The scrimmage tournament will feature teams from Bay City, Dickinson, Manvel, and Splendora. The Varsity team will play in Memorial Stadium at Alvin HS while the JV team will play at Manvel HS Stadium. Both teams will play simultaneously at 10:00am, 12:00 noon, and 1:00pm. The matches will be 40 minutes long. Concessions stands will be open at both locations.

For those parents and fans coming to the tournament, field locations can be found on googlemaps.com. Both stadiums are approximately 1 1/2 hours from Splendora HS. The players will be traveling on one bus leaving SHS at 7:45am and should return to the school approximately 4:30pm. Please contact Coaches McGuire or Nixon with any questions. Go Wildcat Soccer!
