Freshman –

The 9th grade girls exploded in the second quarter to erase a 14-11 deficit to blow out the visiting Lady Indians by a score of 50-17.  Autumn Knott, Taylor Hoppes, and Jessalyn McMullins  all scored over 10 points.  Brielle Coody and Kaylee Lewis were spectacular on the defensive end while Juli Muirhead dominated the offensive and defensive boards.  They improved their record to 7-5 and remain undefeated in district play.

Junior Varsity-

The JV LadyCats used a strong defensive effort to hold the Cleveland Lady Indians to a single basket in the first half and just 7 points for the entire game.  The Lady Cats struggled on the offensive end but stayed in the game with hustle and desire.  Sarah Mericle and Courtney Aponte were outstanding on the glass.  Kim Ramos, Ashlynn Neuman, and Emily Hall had great defensive games.  The Lady Cats improved their season record to 9-4 and remain undefeated in district play.

The Varsity Lady Cats improved to 11-3 with a dominating performance over rival Cleveland Tuesday night at Splendora.  The Lady Indians opened the game with 5-0 run before the Lady Cats scored at will to take a 25-9 first quarter lead and 41-15 halftime advantage.  Bailey Williams had 4 first quarter bombs behind the three point arc and ended the game with 5 treys.  Angel Hall fought hard on the offensive boards to give the Lady Cats many second chance opportunities.  Emily Richardson played outstanding registering a double- double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  Lynze Brode orchestrated the press with perfection recording many steals  and assists to teammates that lead to the 25 point explosion in the first quarter.  Frankie York, Natalie McOmber, and Courtney Owens contributed on the offensive end while Jordan Ellison, Briana Helms, and Zoe O’Steen, played well on the defensive end of the court.
