C Team Cruises to Victory in Huffman

By Dave Bell of Splendora High SchoolGreg Ramirez score on the Final play of the first half to lead the C team Wildcats to victory klast Thursday night in Huffman. With seven secondsleft in the second quarter,Ramirez took the pitch to the right side scored on a 9 yard touchdown scamper. JD Anderson put the ball in the endzone for the PAT to extend the wildcat lead to 8-0.
Ramirez scored in the third quarter, again over the right side, on another 20 yard TD run. This time the PAT failed. Ramirez scored due to the outstand lead blocking by fullback Izak Barrow and tackle Kyle Wilkinson-Sindelar.
The Wildcat Defense proved to be to tough for Huffman. The defense held them to negatice yard for the entire game. JD Anderson, Dustin Willis, and Pete DelaGraza all had multiple tackles for a loss.
The C team returns to action this week in a game against the Cleveland Indians at 4:30 in Cleveland.
