Splendora vs. Liberty

The Wildcats traveled to Liberty last night to play the Panthers in their first district game. To start off the night 8B pulled out a win 8-6. After the panthers put 6 points on the board, our defense kept the panthers out of the endzone the rest of the night. With some great running by Josh Tarver who had about a 10 yard scamper and with a 2 point conversion allowed the Cats to take the lead and pull out the win.
8th A had a struggle losing 34-18, Gordon Moore scored 2 touchdowns, and RJ Gornick scored on a fumble recovery. Great job, 8B is 1 & 0 and 8A is 0 & 1 in district play, looking to take on the Cleveland Indians next week here at Wildcat stadium.
