Splendora vs Kincade Scrimmage
August 19, 2012
By Brad Milam of Splendora High SchoolThe scrimmage vs Kincade, the defending State TAAPS Champions, was a great indicator how just how far the football program has come. Kincade is a really good team and all levels performed very well against Kincade. The Varsity had many big plays on offense led by Jay Bradford, Anthony Reed and Josh Dibble. The defense forced 4 turnovers with an interception by returning All-Distric Linebacker Dylan Jacobs. The offensive line led by returning starters Tyler Whitmire, Marco Ramirez and Kevin Kimmons adjusted very well to an all out blitzing defense by Kincade. The coaching staff did a great job adjusting the plan to counter the schemes presented by Kincade. Overall the staff is really pleased by the progress of the team. The next scrimmage will be Thursday August 23rd vs New Caney at 5:30 pm. See you there.
