Tennis Competes in Regional Meet

The Region 3 Tennis Tournament concluded on Tuesday April 17 at Bryan High School. Leading the way for the Fighting Wildcat Tennis team was Cameron Camp. Cameron advanced to the semifinal round and was defeated by Jace Yantis of Bellville the #2 seed on Tuesday morning  in a thrilling 3 set match  1-6, 6-4, 6-2.  Cameron bounce back in the 3rd place match by defeating Westin Jablonowski of Bellville  6-0, 6-1.   Cameron lost in the playback for 2nd place and the chance to go to state by being defeated by Seth Grant of Center the #1 seed 6-0, 6-0.   Cameron claimed 3rd place and the Bronze medal for the Wildcats  and is the singles alternate for state for Region 3.
