Announcements For Friday 4/20

In action from last night=s Knight athletic schedule . . .

> The VARSITY BASEBALL TEAM fell to visiting Lewis Cass, 14 – 2.  Robbie Cole ad Jackson Blair each had doubles; Colin Gouveia had a hit and pair of RBI’s; and Nathan Hollars and Coin Elliott each added a hit in the contest for the Knight niners.

• Ø The JUNIOR VARSITY BASEBALL TEAM fell at North Miami, 18 – 8.

> CONGRATULATIONS to the VARSITY GOLF TEAM  which posted a pair of wins over Adams Central and Southern Wells.  Levi Winget was the overall medalist with a 40; Drew Roser had a 48;  Casey Huston added a 51 for the Knight linksters.

• Ø The VARSITY TENNIS TEAM fell to Madison Grant, 5 – 0.

• Ø The JUNIOR VARSITY TENNIS TEAM fell to Madison Grant, 6 – 2.  Tori Meyer and Alyson Gouveia picked up JV net wins for the Knight netters.

> CONGRATULATIONS to the VARSITY BOYS TRACK TEAM  which topped Mississinewa, 84 – 39.  First place finishers for the cindermen were Devin Bechtold, Brett Wyatt, Coltyn Spicer, Grant Keaffaber, Kyle Porter, Johnny Mendez, Garrett Wright, Michael Bowman and Jonathan Friedersdorf.  Second place finishers were Mendez, Bowman, Ryan Barton and Michael Lengel.  Third place finishers included Wright, Zack Hobson, Bechtold, Noah Kirk, Cody Tyson , Porter and Brenden Schleining. 

• Ø CONGRATULATIONS to the VARSITY GIRLS TRACK TEAM which notched a 93 – 24 win over Mississinewa.  Blue ribbon winners were Hannah Fadil, Danielle Perlich, Lisa Schmalzried, Amy Bowman, Emily Lehner, Jaycie Wright, Kaitlyn Murphy, Lexi Brickner, Alli Keith, and Sami White.  Second place finisher were Kelli Siepker, Brickner, Jenna Schmidt, Keith, Meagan Chittick, Schmalzried and Kylee Gunter.  Thirds went to Alisha Tack, Aleesha Phillips, Murphy, Keith, White and Siepker.
