Home » FCCLA NewsFCCLA State ConferenceApril 8, 2011 By Lisa Moody of South Shelby High SchoolSouth Shelby's Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) attended the State Conference on March 27-29. The events took place in Columbia, Missouri, and Devyn Windsor explains that they attended sessions and workshops, listened to speakers, and competed in STAR Events. "My favorite part [of the conference] was hanging out with my friends and running around the hotel," says Windsor. She also enjoyed a technology workshop at the conference. Every group from South Shelby that participated received a silver with Mason Greenwell and Lexie Wilt ranking top in the State. Unfortunately, none of the teams moved onto the national level. Courtney Kirby will be attending nationals in California as the Region III President.
