Also on Tuesday there was Teacher Appreciation and Farmer and Gum Boot Day. Wednesday was Camo Day with the Volleyball Tournament being held later on that day. Thursday was Member Appreciation Day, where members got to eat steak during lunch and it was also FFA Apparel Day. Chaplin Sandra Greenwell said, “Member Appreciation Day [is my favorite part of FFA week] because it’s the day that members are appreciated for all that we do.” Friday was Official Dress Day and the FFA Appreciation Supper was held where FFA members served a free meal to the community. Lastly Saturday members went to the Hannibal YMCA where many got to go swimming, played games such as volleyball, racquetball, video games, ping pong and pool. “It allows them to get more involved because there are more activities for them to do,” Sandra Greenwell said about how FFA week gets members more involved.
