GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - Head coach Brian Wardle and the Green Bay men's basketball program welcomed four new players to campus on Thursday as part of an 895-person freshman class at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Keifer Sykes, Aaron Armstead, Greg Mays and Josh Humphrey moved into their new apartments in Harden Hall and participated in orientation activities.

The four players each participated in a slam dunk contest at Freshman Welcome in front of nearly 1,000 people at the Kress Center, with Mays edging out Humphrey in the finals. Mays' final dunk, in which he jumped over the 5-foot-10 Sykes, along with Humphrey's top attempt, can be seen below.

All four freshmen hail from Chicago, and the foursome will be featured on a series of Phoenix Flix feature videos this fall on GreenBayPhoenix.com. The debut of the series, Four Chi Guys, will be online next week and will introduce fans to the freshmen, show their experience on move-in day and include additional dunk contest footage.

Newcomer Brennan Cougill also arrives on campus this weekend. The 6-foot-9 junior college transfer from Kirkwood Community College will be a junior on the Phoenix roster.

Green Bay's entire team will begin classes as well as individual workouts next Tuesday. ###

Season tickets and Pick-5 plans are currently on sale with the Green Bay Athletics Ticket Office while individual game tickets will go on sale on Oct. 10. For more information or to order tickets, call the ticket office at 920.465.2625.
